Climate change is one of the biggest challenges of our age. The time for debating the evidence for global warming has passed and we now have to act. International bodies and Governments must act, but businesses and individuals must also step up and play their part.

BT has developed a strategy for reducing its corporate energy use and has cut its carbon emissions by 60%, but we want to do more. We want to engage our people around the world and influence our customers and suppliers to help tackle climate change. Through our people, we want to encourage families and friends to get involved too.

We are asking you to make a pledge to try something different and see the benefits for yourself. To help, we've collected a range of ideas. Some are light–hearted, but all have a connection to our impact on the environment and climate change.
